No idea, I have the exact same build and it just works. Have you tried with PPU interpreter? Do other games work?

Found the offending setting. Aspect ratio. I switched it to 16:9 instead of "Auto" and suddenly it's doing something.

Ah. Good to know.

The outlines of the characters look a bit weird sometimes though. They are sometimes green. I would also like to check the gatherpoint thing... but I can't remember where some of them were, to confirm that they are also invisible for me.

There is one right outside Felion barrier/gate thing, right after starting new game and going out of the city for the first time to look for Nay (the Gale). You will also notice that the save point is basically invisible too.

Ok, can confirm the following problems:

Sometimes weird character outlines
Video cutscenes seem to have performance problems
Gathering points are not invisible for me. They are black (see screenshot)
Savepoints are invisible

Personally I view that as a difference. Them being black doesn't hinder playability. just looks bad. Same like the character outlines for example. The invisible save points are a problem which does hinder playability though.

I think it does hinder playability because some of them are almost impossible to see against dark backgrounds.

Also you can't see save points at all.

The real problem, same with Atelier Escha / Shallie, that the gathering points and save points are invisible. Instead of a bright sparkle, they show nothing or a shadow at most.

Looks playable now. See screenshot.

Has some minor flickering added though and the outline problem still exists. But as you can see, save points and gathering points are now properly displayed.

€: Ok. Not playable. I tried playing a bit and it crashes after the battle when meeting Nay for the first time.
