So I seem to have fixed the problem, it's got something to do with AMD's latest gpu driver (Crimson ReLive Edition 17.7.2) I've rolled back to an older driver (16.10.3) and after roughly an hour or so in-game I've yet to encounter the error so I guess that may have fixed it.

I hope this helps anyone getting the same problem.

Helped? I have several times crashed on the day, and it really started after the driver update. Now, too, I'm pumping out the old one.

UPD. Recognized to update the AMD drivers 17.7.2 - a terrible mistake. This crappy update, after rolling back on the old driver, I was finally able to play without fear that I could not keep progress until the error.
