One of the first SNES emulators out there with great compatibility and speed.
Back in the day there was ZSNES emulator with amazing speed at the time but outdated GUI which was DOS based.
Then snes9x came along with a win32 GUI but inferior performance for the hardware of that era.
Of course this changed dramatically with newer and more powerful CPUs which made snes9x the go to emulator for many of us.

I can't think of Snes9x without reminiscing the music themes of Chrono Trigger
