It saves no problem, but it gives a "failed" message when it tries to load it on boot. Log attached. Is this supported yet for this game?

It worked in r1931 with default settings (all settings off) and only Media Engine and Decode using SonicStage off. It has some graphical errors in the menu, ingame it looks better but not perfect.

I've tried so many revisions from the 1800's and 1900's from the official jpsp build page and all have the same issue. Of course thats with 100% default settings. I can save but when it tries to auto-load or I do a manually load, the game says the file is "corrupt". I've tried also various directory locations and all should have proper read/write access. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there something I'm missing? Any ideas or something else I can try? Game version info: ULUS 10062 2.50

I suggest you save (and maybe load) ingame and then post the log (in INFO) and the savegame here to check whether the save or the load process is faulty.

Here's the save file and the log of me booting game, it trying/failing to load save, going to options, changing a setting and then performing a save. Let me know if you need anything else!

Still occuring as of r1980. Anyone else having this issue? Anything else I can try? Should this be working? Do saves in general work fine for Jpsp?

Save file is still getting corrupted on r2038. It seems to save/load during the session, but on next launch it reports the file as corrupted. Tried all the crypto options and none seem to have worked.
Isn't saving supposed to be pretty solid now? Is there anything that I can try here?

Hmm...
I'm guessing this is a game specific issue. From the log, my first guess is that we're dealing with some new MODE_SIZES unseen condition. Could you please upload the log from when you try loading the "corrupted" save file? Thanks! |
