Just leave configuration like this http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/2306/onepieces.jpg and you can pass the boss xD

PS:you will lose BGM :/

What I do is get passed the bird, save then close the emulator and re open it

How about the game speed? Mine runs sloppy in fields and runs really slow in battles with 3 or more enemies. Any good configurations for improving its performance? I've tried many but none where good.
