How are games added to the compatibility list?
#1
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm an emulator YouTuber and I plan on testing out quite a few games with RPCS3. I have a number of games that aren't on the compatibility list and they also don't have topics here on the forums.

I'm just curious... how do games get added to the compatibility list? Does someone do it manually based off of their findings, is it done automatically based off of forum postings here, or what exactly?

I'm asking because I'd like to make quite a few additions to the list in the near future.

Sorry for the n00b question, but thanks for your time!

Hello!

I update the compatibility list based on information provided by users on forum posts/threads.
That means that if you want the game to be added/updated there you just need to create a new thread or post (following the guidelines, of course).
It doesn't get updated immediately since the process is manual, only a couple days ago I finally finished filling up the list while going through our ~1500 threads archive (account for duplicated threads) since the list was made last month so updates should be faster now.
