I had some of these issues too , but I used the settings in the attached Picture and it worked like a charm !!!

Btw I got almost the same specs as yours
intel core i3-350M 2.26Ghz
ATi Radeon HD 5470 (I'll check how many gigas later Tongue

4 gig RAM
Windows 7 64 bit
I'm using the latest r2736
