I've same configuration and same version of jpcsp which is r 2887.
But After create a character, I can't see any screen. It's like a no-signal TV screen . Just many white and black dots.
My PC specification.
AMD FX 8400? 8-core
DDR3 16G
SSD RAID0
Radeon HD7780
Give me a hint.

Yeah, it's known issue with vertex cache. Sad

vmftm12, you could try run it on ppsspp after some modifications to source code.

I've fixed the Vertex Cache in r3137 for some cases. Does it help here?
